I'm not sure what you consider low volume, but I work for Swift and trade MSFT, INTC, ORCL, etc. Last time I checked they're all volume leaders Although I agree the failure rate can be high (only 3 of us left out of 7 that started in June and only 2 of us are making money) it's a good place...

Not even going to bother posting my blotter today. Had to fight all day to get a measley $100. Up, down, up, down, left, right.....hey....remind anyone of any Nintendo games? LOL.... Looking for minimum $600 tomorrow to end the first 4 days of the month at $2K.

Awesome day. Beat my best by $8. Would have done better but I wussed out and missed a 10 tick winner by 2 minutes :mad: Gotta work on those signals....

System is being erratic so I'm done for the day. Good start to the month. Although not my best $ day I traded smarter today.

A little bit of both. All depends on what the stock/market wants to do that day. I trade faster moving stocks myself....hates the JDSU and SUNW :p

Usually ranges from 20-100K depending on the liquidity and the stock. One guy just goes nuts sometimes and trades like 500K on JDSU. Brass balls I tell ya...

I'm not sure I would call it "nickel and diming". There's some guys at my branch who easily flip huge size and make more in one trade than some people do in a day here. Of course, the only way to make good coin with that strategy is if you get the dirt cheap per lot commissions that we do.

Thanks Fred but I already checked there. Only has monthly volume statistics that aren't accurate for some reason. That's pretty much all they have there that's close to what I'm looking for.

Anyone know where I can find: 1) BRUT daily volume statistics (preferably a website that I can refresh for a specific stock) or 2) Software that calculates ECN and MM volume percentage for a specific stock on-the-fly (I've heard his exists already but I can't seem to hunt it down)

Here is a link to INET's website indicating their "clearly erroneous" policy. For stocks over $30 it's $1 or more so that's why the trade was broken in your situation. Now, they also say that the trade should be reported within 20 min or they have the right to decline. Looks like whoever made...
