If this crisis becomes a depression as bad as the one in 1930's.............there will be a lot of killing...............probably government collapse.

High taxes are only a little part of the problem. Companies go to where opportunity is. We cant have opportunity in a country full of mergers, acquisitions and creative destruction, or better called "derivatives".

I was talking about the differences between falling prices due to production vs. falling prices due to a contraction in the money supply.
What we have now is a decrease in consumer demand combined by a reduction in credit as you well said.
Falling prices are very different from a monetary deflation.
Although decreasing prices have some degree of inflexibility, we must reject âdeflation as dangerâ (FED best selling story).

I must agree that capitalism "being man made" needs supervision and constant check. However, I do not think that is the system we have in place at the moment.
Private property, markets, buying and selling ARE NOT Necessarily CAPITALISM.
I think the system you describe below is called socialism of the capitalist. This is a system where true market capital opportunity is in the hand of a few who control the govt and monopolize the whole economy.
