Most Important Lesson Of The Year.

Another lesson for me this year: treat each trade absolutely separately from your previous trades and don't let losses or wins affect your next trade.

Most Important Lesson Of The Year.

I agree. I found that I am a disretionary trader. I tried to apply a structured system but found that just observing price action and trying to be on the same wave as the market, is much more profitable for me.

Cash settlement of a future contract

I have a question. I was reading about futures on investopedia and have come across the following: As the accounts of the parties in futures contracts are adjusted every day, most transactions in the futures market are settled in cash, and the actual physical commodity is bought or sold in...

    Al Brooks trading room

I am reading his book now. It is extremely difficult to read as it is not written very well. Right in Chapter 1 he refers to things that he hasn't explained yet. actually given that there is a thread on the web site where this question was raised and answered - do you mean "futures trading...

    Al Brooks trading room

I just asked on his forum, and was told that he doesn't call trades but identifies price action. He is legally not allowed to call trades and show his DOM, as he is not licensed. What I don't understand is what is the purpose of such a trading room if he doesn't give you any signals? What will...

    Al Brooks trading room

I signed up for a free trial in Al Brooks' trading room. Got 2 days. He does talk throughout the day and stays all day with you. He kind of indicates when he is going to buy/sell but does not get too specific unless I missed something. What really worried me was that there was no DOM so...

    Good book on E-mini futures

Thanks, Mark, Yes, I already read a bit on ET forum. I was quite surprised actually to see that so many trade with no or few indicators, and this may be the way to go, you get less distracted with trying to figure out what the indicators tell you. I will do more research about this.

    Good book on E-mini futures

Thanks for the advice! FirstDegree, are you serious? Get rid of indicators completely??? How can you trade with nothing on your chart? I would be curious to know if there are other ET members who trade with no or very few indicators?? I will start a new thread after checking to make sure no...
