    Americans just can't add.

When you combine "peer pressure" from neighbors/family, stupidity, huge advertising to buy, buy, availability of "credit", easy access to shopping malls, internet purchase, home delivery, store sales every few days, it adds up to one powerful cocktail that the American consumer can't resist...

Shareholder revolt, GS lawsuit over bonus

What the hell is the point of being a GS "shareholder" if the c&@ksuckers at the top siphon all the earnings for themselves? Shareholders in the US are just getting screwed royally by top managements across the board!

Greenspan: Fed has done an extraordinary job to bolster employment

That's probably how many it takes to accurately count all the unemployed & underemployed millions. This is the modern version of employing people to dig/fill holes in the ground.

The Morse Code for Dealing with Market Makers and Specialists

Yes, pay attention to how often they "flash". The secret really lies in interpreting their sequential moves up/down & for how long they remain in "pause". Better brush up on morse code first, though!

    Automated Trading Answers

Where's the "problem" with his post? Better someone experienced in systems & platforms in an intelligent discussion than a hundred wannabe jokers with useless talk.

IF & when somebody does that for you, it will be the day HFT is finished.

Another reason to go with a VAT tax system & drop these crooked morons.

    Goldman sees rather strong 2010-11

Unfortunately, the American voter is screwed. It's always a choice of voting either for a crook or a thief.

    Cantor Exchange - Movie Futures

Gee, I guess the Hollywood set really needs such an exchange to 'hedge' the garbage they're putting out lately. What's next? A futures contract on the % of lard carried on the average american fatass? Hey, maybe the insurance cos. might be interested in such a 'hedging tool'!

    Goldman sees rather strong 2010-11

The problem is the sheep have even less wool than ever. The crooked 'shepherds' have fleeced them over & even taken out loans on their future wool production.

1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

Ha! That would be the end of the Caymans as a 'financial' center/tax haven. This must be a 'trial balloon' from some idiot who has no idea of the consequences of such a stupid move by a supposed 'tax haven' domicile.

    Goldman sees rather strong 2010-11

Let me know if you ever find a 'salesman', especially a crooked salesman saying any bad shit about his 'product'. What would you expect from the doers of 'God's work'? The economy is going to crash 'n burn?

Hedge funds still not hedged. Too much positive correlation to the market.

The bigger 'hedge funds' are really mutual funds in drag. The only time they're active now, is when there's some market calamity forcing them to liquidate positions.

    Amazing Pictures, Pollution in China

While consumers are stupid with a buy, buy binge, much blame also falls on crooked politicians for not imposing a VAT type of tax that would automatically reduce exports & consumers would buy less. Instead, these government assholes keep playing their games and the corporate sector keeps pushing...

    cfd trading

Well, I'm not going to mention names here, but there are a few firms that are very competitive. More competitive even, than IB in commissions. They're members of the LSE as well as other big exchanges. So, definitely not bucketshops. But like I said, not available to US based traders.

    cfd trading

That place is just as bad as the bucketshop CFD scammers. What if I told you it's possible to trade CFD's at the same rates IB charges in the US for regular stock trading??? Same exchange prices, same exchange spreads. Only it's not available to US-based entities/traders.

    Consistently Profitable Trading System

Look at the big players... The big hedge funds have become buy 'n hold "mutual funds in disguise" in the last few years. Many of the smaller players have washed out. The fact is, except for a few lucky minority, you're not going to find what you're looking for. Put your money in some long...

Yeah, and that system is only operational at Goldman Sachs, as they're the only one's doing "god's work".

    cfd trading

There are 2 types of CFD's. There is the ripoff CFD from bucketshops (the more popular ones). And there are CFD's from solid, professional brokers with ultra-low commissions and same prices as LSE but not available to retail traders. Neither is available to US retail traders. Both are...
