Average American family "can't pay their bills"

How come no one else caught on to this? Five children??? This country is overpopulated as it is . . . and there are people out there having children that they can't afford. They're just perpetuating the problem.

Clinton Backer Says Obama Only Winning Because He's Black

I LOVED this article: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/09/us/politics/09obama.html?_r=3&ref=politics&oref=slogin&oref=slogin&oref=slogin If I copied the link wrong, sorry. But it's worth searching out. I don't give a damn what color the man is - that's not what my beef with him is. My...

    Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!!

It has already been announced that even though Carl keeps the win on record, it won't be counted toward his seed in the Chase.

While ToS and OptionVue are good, it really depends upon what you need to trade. Are you looking for something really comprehensive, or are you just starting out? That will make a difference.

    MySpace, Facebook losing popularity......

I just find it so disturbing that just about anyone can look me up and see my picture, who my friends are, what city I live in . . . Even more disturbing to me about MySpace is the lack of maturity of its users. If someone pisses you off, you drop them from your friends list, or move them...

    Another USA suicide shooting

What our Canadian friends fail to acknowledge is that, with the exception of the Virginia Tech shooter, a large percentage of these shootings are by WHITE MEN. Crazy, pissed off WHITE MEN. You know, because life is so difficult if you're a white male, always being subjugated.

    The Rich Man's Michael Moore

Cinemax has its next airtime buried at 5 am on Friday. That's the next time it's being shown. I wonder if it's even offered on demand. Probably not.

    Americana. . . very fiddle-heavy.

    Robert Plant & Alison Krauss

For the same reason that Lili Haydn opened for Page and Plant back in '98. He likes that kind of music. I was glad I got there late for that one . . . one of the least enjoyable opening acts I've ever seen.

    spoiled brats

I disagree that parents are overprotective. In fact, I think that parents are far more permissive than when I grew up. I am shocked at what my teenage niece and nephew are allowed to get away with. The problem now is that parents let their kids do whatever they want, and because they are...

    spoiled brats

Why are there spoiled brats? Because no one wants to say "NO" to their children anymore. God forbid a parent punish their child!

    OptionVue

It's pretty good for making adjustments. If I want to compare trades, all of the info is next to each other. I don't have to flip between a bunch of screens.

    spoiled brats

Even though I am under 30, I remember being four years old and able to sit in the front seat of my mother's car without being strapped into a monstrous car seat. The real "spoiled brats" are children of the 80s and beyond. They all have a sense of entitlement, that the world owes them...

    Where does everyone Trade?

I just asked a similar question in a different thread . . . why is it that whenever anyone brings up TOS, all they can say is that they have great customer service? Why? Can't anyone be descriptive about what they have to offer?

    i need a good broker

Sheng, You were a little vague . . . are you just trading options? Do you need quality educational tools? Everybody's got something a little bit different to offer. If you're just trading options, then TOS is a good suggestion, but they don't offer futures, if that matters to you.

Most Dangerous? American Black's or Iraqis

Let's clarify this: It was at a newly built shopping center in a relatively prosperous, growing south suburb. By no means was it a "ghetto." This robbery doesn't add up . . . who the hell robs a Lane Bryant, early in the morning? They can't have much more than $200 cash at that point...

    The best president.

I agree with much of what has just been said. It's the lasting effects of the presidency that make him great or not. I never voted for Bush, but I can certainly say that we can't yet judge how bad he is because the effects of the presidency have not yet come to pass. I also agree that it's...

    See Ya Rudy

Yeah, no clue as to what you're talking about . . . . I do know, though, that you're speaking of Battlefield Earth, and not the 70s TV show Battlestar Galactica.
