QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

Sad to say, I spoke to Jerry yesterday and he indicated to me that QT will not be coming back in any kind of "version" in 2012 with his help. Sounds like he is totally out of the picture. :(

    dell monitors - new -deal

The thin panel design would be PERFECT for hanging on the wall. Unfortunately, DELL blew it by only allowing for the cables to be plugged in from the back of the monitor. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb...

    Interactive Brokers data quality

I disagree 100% Not if you are scalping. Snap-shot feeds are the kiss of death.

TD Ameritrade starting to get it right

Thank You. I have "referenced" the TD Ameritrade and ToS "snap-shot" data-feeds vs a Level One "IQ-Feed" quote feed from DTN and the difference is downright alarming. I've even "referenced" the ToS professional/institutional platform called ThinkPipes* vs the basic ToS trading platform...

    Trading for friends and family

For the Series 7??? What meds are you on? FINRA requires an individual to be sponsored by a member firm, an SRO, or an Exchange in order to take the Series 7 exam. A Form U-4 must be filed by the sponsoring firm in order to schedule the exam.

TD Ameritrade starting to get it right

If ToS is still using that incredibly slow "snap-shot" data feed that they were using 2 years ago . . . then you couldn't be MORE wrong about ToS. The platform may have all sorts of "bells and whistles", but the only way that they can offer all of that without overtaxing the platform and...

    Discretionary Day Trader Computer

I believe that one of the differences is that the XPS 8300 only supports two monitors. The Precision supports 4 given the two dual graphics cards that it has.

Day traders pls quit while you can

Exactly! The OP doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. And on top of that, he's probably a "noob" using a data feed / platform from either ToS or TD Ameritrade. Good Luck with that! :D

QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

I spent a good year and a half calling on upper level management at TD Ameritrade to do something about their crappy "snap-shot" data feed that was nothing close to REAL-TIME. They kept making promises over that time, about how things were going to get better. Finally, the executive...

    Ib Quotes With Medved Quotetracker

I loved Quotetracker when I used it. You could even pump in a third party data feed vendor like the IQ-Feed from DTN. Unfortunately, DTN does not support Level-2 quotes ( imagine that????) and the Level-2 quotes had to come from my broker at the time, TD Ameritrade. They sucked. Too bad...

Which Candidate is more Fiscally conservative than Ron Paul?

It's so nice to check back here once a year around the Holidays and see that the same ET "tools" are hard at work trying to change people's minds about politics via anonymous posts on the Internet. What a bunch of CLOWNS!!! LMAO! :D Happy New Year Fools!

MF Global: customers with warehouse receipts get 72%

Barron's made a big deal about this, this week. But if you think about it, the Trustee isn't giving any MF Global account holder ANY priority.... not even if you hold a physical gold/silver position. It would make sense to me. I have an account with them ( in cash ) and have had it...

'SEC charges ex-Fannie, Freddie CEOs with fraud'

These idiots were leveraged at 3 TIMES the amount that the typical investment bank was. Yes, you read that right. 90:1

Just to emphasize your point about shared fault... I always hear the names of Barney Frank and other Dems come up with regards to relaxing lending requirements. But let's not forget the GOP lobbying/consulting group DCI that prevented the reform of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. I believe that...

1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

Agreed 100% Besides, people inside the Democratic Party like Schumer, Clinton, and Pelosi wouldn't let this happen because they are smart enough to know what it would do to the likes of Boston, Chicago, and New York. DeFazio is an outlier. A complete nut-job. All that rain in Oregon must...

Not to hi-jack this thread, but quite frankly . . . I'm surprised that the American public has been so sanguine about what they've watched their Country go through over the last decade. It's as if everyone has become "dumbed-down" or "drugged". Congress doesn't represent the People, and it...

The Occupy Wall Street ass clowns??? That's funny... the US Govt hasn't been ripping off the middle (and retiring) class for years by devaluing the US Dollar and bailing-out investment banks (with public tax dollars) that should have been allowed to go belly up in the first place...
