    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

I would follow my plan. If my plan is to take 5 ticks and exit that is what I do. If my plan is to exit part of my position at 5 ticks and then use a trailing stop or other exit, that is what I do. The worse thing to do is CHANGE YOUR PLAN midtrader.

NO! Not at all!! Go back to Page 1 and read what jjrvat wrote about selecting your time frame.

Trading Psychology - Double Your Discipline in Three Simple Steps Thursday, May 15th, 2008 Peruse any book on trading and you’ll find that discipline is an absolutely critical factor in profitable trading. This particular aspect of trading is also one of the biggest challenges for most...

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

Narrowed down my selections. Don't even have to look at the chart. When I get a red or green arrowhead, I enter the trade, set a TP = 5 pips and wait. It adds up!

This makes it even easier for me to trade multiple pairs. The computer shows me what pair/timeframe to look at for the jjrvat trade.

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

This is one of the best, if not the best, post on trading I have seen. The way jjrvat laid out the system is simple yet elegant. It contains all one needs and nothing more. My hat off to you, jjrvat!!

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

As you can see, when price crossed the tunnel there was profit on the horizon.

No anger. The one hour Vegas Tunnel works. Why else would I have it on my charts?

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

Thought it would be helpful to show what happened after the last post. Just so you know, the yellow and brown lines are the one hour Vegas Tunnel lines which serve as a Macro direction. Trade short below and trade long above.

This is a slight twist to what jjrvat has been teaching and it is NOT my intention to derail this thread. Someone mentioned RANGING TIMES. I have RANGE displayed for 8 different time frames so I can see whether or not the current range has exceeded the previous range. What ties this to...

Notice how well the MA(12) acts as support/resistance when a line chart is used for price.

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

Using a line chart for price gives a different perspective.... Price ( black ) bounced off the 1 Hour Vegas Tunnel ( yellow, brown ) twice in the past 2 days. You can NOT see the bounce now because it is a line chart. The bounce was visible in real time. (Something to think about.)...

"Option 2: If you are not carful you can misinterpret price and take a trade based only on the indicator and not on price analysis + you may not take a valid trade because of the indicator. In the case of the example the second arrow won’t be a valid entry anymore because is a lower high...

"As you can see in the chart the 1st and 3rd trades would have been triggered +/-130 ticks and +/- 170 ticks above the original trigger based on the random line. (Either if you entry on the close above or if you waited for change of slope)." Actually, I do NOT see that?!?!? What is the...

The Buy Zone is 8 pips wide. Open +/- 4 pips. Enter the trade in the direction of the MA in Color indicator when it is inside the Buy Zone. 7 pip SL. I use my Range indicator to ride the trade for maximum profit.

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

I combined jjrvat's theory with my BuyZone. Taking the trade in the MACRO direction and WAVE direction through the Buy Zone yields PROFIT!
