    well I am indeed a newbie...but I took a mentoring program. I just started trading live 4 months ago...with 5K. So far SO good. My account is at 10k and i'm going to start trading 2 contracts soon.

    Trading has its risks but I think those risks can be mananged and, if you know what you are doing, its not gambling.

    Well I just started day trading...(still learning) but I love it! It can be extremely profitable and you eliminate some of those nasty overnight trades. That's not to say that having a less involved approach to the market isn't profitable...it is...but I like the control you have as a daytrader.

    I would try futures....highly leveraged markets...have to know what you are doing though. Agree that you should start slow...don't start throwing big numbers around no matter what you choose to do

    I too, paid the even heftier fee of 10K! However, I'm glad to report that it is well worth the price. He has really been great guiding me through and has truly made me a successful trader. He doesn't take on that many students which might explain why he's not all over the message boards. Anyway...
