It's the formations and their breakouts.

Yes, I was watching that bar make not one but two FBOs of the formation. First it broke out of the top then fell back in, only followed by a break out down and then back into the formation. Checked the YM and saw a lateral formation and an FTT so thought 'long' about 3/4s of the way back up.

I'd be willing to bet you spend too much time watching and reacting to your ES 1 min charts. Try this, setup a larger ES chart, when you have a formation or action point look at the YM, if the YM is in a formation or at an action point look at STR/SQU which leads the YM. You might not even...

NO! The channel you described, I do not have drawn as it was pretty close to my 'tape'. I just used my experience to draw that larger channel. The slope of the channel you describe is very steep and I just anticipated a new pt 3 would come along. It did and I drew the larger channel. Now...

I don't draw the forest level gau anymore but consider from 1025 to 1055 dec red volume then from 1055 to 1105 inc blk volume, with an intrabar gau change on the 1105 bar. I've noticed several times I can have a pt 3 form and the very next bar is the FTT. -Mike
