I went long at 86.43, stop at 86.21. CL has been relatively quiet since October 23, trading between 84.50 and 87 (or thereabouts). Generally, this kind of coiling results in some action. Hope that happens sooner rather than later.

For me, it is pure hindsight -- I don't use ATR in trading per se, but in system design, and also in evaluating whether CL is a good candidate to trade, ATR is significant.
