    GLD

I don't like it. Not a short IMO, but certainly not a buy.

AAPL - Tim Cook - Not very innovative

You know, the title of this thread perfectly transfers the general attitude towards AAPL on the Street. Which should at least be concerning for potential investors.

    Seeing Bid/Ask volumes within candlesticks

I really doubt you should look THAT deep, man... Don't see why would a usual Joe search for more complicated tools than Yahoo Finance :D

The Business of Meditation and Trading

Really? Meditation to become a successful trader? That's quite a long road you're taking, in my opinion :D

    Oil Up 5%

Shorting oil really doesn't feel like a nice idea at this pricing...

    DIS

I don't really get what's the point of this thread. $DIS is cool, prominent and eternal, end of story.

Need material on volume analysis and volume price analysis

Why do you finished it if it was that awful? Don't you value your time? :)

    It's been 3 years and I'm back!

I wonder why would a successful trader waste his time and money (since time IS money) on forums like this talking to newbies?

Your thoughts on using buy stop orders to enter a position?

Agreed :) I'm still on this journey too. Though even if I manage to find one, it's still difficult to keep to it when faced by "trade of a life-time" :D

Which means you can never actually lose, thus making it impossible to actually win!

Do you feel obligated to sharing your proprietary research or advice with strangers? Free Advice?

Oh soz, seems like I've misunderstood you then. But there's always some useful stuff from your experience you can share that has not been written in books yet.

Your thoughts on using buy stop orders to enter a position?

That's what I'm talking about! Trading is not about finding a less risky stock, it's about finding the stock that suits your risk tolerance
  13. Zestilio

Your thoughts on using buy stop orders to enter a position?

Can't agree with that. The more volatile the stock, the more profits are made there. Risky, yes, but so is our job :)

My understanding of trading improved the most when I took years off

Trading inside, the same works here too - you should trade with whatever stocks you know and love. Not only will it be easier to concentrate and monitor it then, but you will also tire less.

Do you feel obligated to sharing your proprietary research or advice with strangers? Free Advice?

Huh, you're quite confident. Well, I guess you can say that there's not much to teach you, but a smart person should always be opened to everything new and possibly useful, isn't it?

Your thoughts on using buy stop orders to enter a position?

Always nice to have extra insurance. I try to use stop orders whenever possible.

Okay, so what were your mental blocks here?

Does Stock Market Volume Still Matter?

I like it how OP rises the question nobody was really interested about and then answers it himself. Like wow was it pointless :D

Yeah, that's why you're rising this topic here? Seems legit :)

Trump says stock market is all a big bubble....

We shall see. Though to be honest this cicle has been around for so long that I get a bit sceptical when hearing another vow that it's about to end.
