I found this about BP going Chapter 11. You probably have better understanding of this than me. Does chapter 11 mean that the stock may to zero? If the drop today was due to dividend cut, it probably isn't a big deal. Chapter 11 may be a much bigger issue.

Exactly. Congress or the court can tell BP to set aside funds in escrow to pay damages. It has no business interfering with BP paying dividend.

True, being poor doesn't bring happiness. However, it is not a good idea to discount a young person for coming from a poor home. The poor boy your daughter dates may make his fortune yet.

No reason to hire a teen when a more responsible young adult can be hired at the same price. At least teens can live with mom and dad, most adults have to pay for housing & food ... There is just not enough jobs to go around for all who need one.

It is not illegal is discriminate against the unemployed. The personnel department must have made the assumption that if a person is unemployed, he/she probable is unemployable or undesirable in some way! Or else why would the person be without work?

More likely than not, the "full time job hunters" are applying for jobs they are over-qualified for. E.g. A veteran software developer applying for an entry-level program job.
