Hey, but on a different note, if you're robbing the specialist/regulars of the ticker for something little like 5-7k a month and keep switching b/w different instruments... it may not irk them enough to fine you :D

For NYSE... one of my friend got fined by the stock's specialist for 115k$. He lost two months of income... thats all.

I'll go for more setups in that case (details :D)... more setups will help me optimize the method based on trade statistics. I can even change over setups depending upon market conditions.

Practically thats very exceptional. Edges change over time and if you commit yourself to one method/theory you will have a very tough time when the edge disappears/diminishes.

I'll tell you one valuable thing: Increasing setups can help you diversify risk. You can have various setups like opening print, first hour reversals, last hour squeeze etc. and achieve great consistency. If that is not the case(which is highly unlikely), I will stick to fewer setups "all...

LOL I actually had a hard time today scalping huge spikes in my stocks. But the futures are definitely stressful to bears and bulls alike.

Strange day, most stocks gave scary spikes. Was caught on the wrong side in ITRI, never mind, was manageable size and later covered in same. Could have made a lot more in PRAA if the dip lasted for more than 2 minutes. The huge upmove in CLF... there was absolutely no sign of buying in...
