LOL, after all my posts I just realized that I must be on crack. My broker is Cannon Futures and I use the TransactAT platform that they provide. So anyway, take everything I said and apply it to Cannon. My apologies for the confusion.
This sounds very strange because every time I've called they've picked up the phone in one ring and quickly handed me over to someone who could address my concern. They've been very professional and forthright with me.
How did you contact them?
I dumped my yearly eSignal subscription today for TransAct futures. Signed up with them, got a good round trip price and I'm saving about $1500 per year that I used to pay for data, which is now free. Buh-bye freezeups during fast markets and eSignal's never-ending lame excuses that they're...
As usual with Ensign, the heavy lifting has already been done. Here's the three-bar break (you'll need to open it in Internet Explorer, unfortunately):

The vertical green line is the buy bar. The pink line is the sell bar.
Note that you...
Since I use Ensign for charting and they now support the TransAct Futures data feed I'd like to make the switch from eSignal. So, which brokers offer TransAct besides Infinity Futures? There's that $400 platform fee if I use TransAct directly so I'm looking to avoid that.

Daniel,
Have you decided on a time frame or are you just going by daily charts? I think what you're doing make sense as I work full time so can't babysit my positions all day. Swing trading is something I'm gravitating to, as well.

Why didn't you title this thread "Black Monday" like you're supposed to? Besides, you should have started it the second the markets closed on Friday. Get with the program.

Every single one of these recommendations is useless. The question was how can he trade from work. Here's how:
I'm assuming you have a broadband connection at home where you have a Windows PC and that you have some understanding of networking and linux/unix command line concepts. The...
Razor,
Post your trades and let's see if we can find where you went wrong. I managed just above breakeven today after a couple of dumb forced trades during the morning quagmire.

Anek,
Please define a DT/DB. Is it the wicks that have to line up, or is it the closes? Or is it the highest high/lowest low that matters? Also, how much leeway is there if the DT/DB levels don't match up exactly? Thanks.

Anek,
Love this thread and wanted to say thanks for all your effort here. I realize it's a ton of work but believe me you're helping out many people here immensely.
I get the impression you consider a consolidation zone as a single unit with respect to the trend. For example if there's...
I would recommend taking the couple of days to read it all the way through. You'll note the progression of thought and see the methods come together. You'll have to use your brain a little. Take notes and study the charts Anekdoten posts. The time you take will be worth it.
