Market is holding up more than I thought. I'd say its going up. Looks like it is carving out a bottom/building support.

Its not going to change my trading. I've been quite successful in manifesting what I've focused on. Hopefully, when enough people are clear in their mind about this practice, it will change for good. :D :eek:

Agree that the golds are oversold here. I tried to get into GG...saw the pros lining up, missed it. Gold right now is at resistance, with the seasonals, and the usd still going down. Expect $900 at least in gold. I think to-days rally had alot of shorts covering with all the volume...

Its not that simple. Regulations are better than bailouts. Naked shorting has hurt many pension funds, and probably a few mutual funds.

i say a rate cut is due tomorrow...only 25% most likely. Usd has risen over the past while, so it won't hurt it...with oil down, the worry about inflation is lessened. we may have more downside in the markets, but i would not be surprised by the PPT coming to the resue tomorrow...afterall...

I read that the reason for the high price in oil is that the hegde funds are buying up spot oil forcing a short squeeze. Is this the reason they are looking at ICE? How long can this go on for? Sounds like collusion/price fixing.

When oil breaks...and the US raises interest rates (or at least keeps them the same as other countries are lowering) gold may well drop. Remember, the credit squeeze is just beginning....the credit blowout is not over by any means.
