My friend just PM'ed me that he suggested if nice traders here can help him to verify the accuracy of IB quotes. He said his quote jumped strangely many times today. He suspect the possibility that the quotes were intercepted and censored. :p

My suggestion, do NOT try to capilalize on disasters, either natural or social. However, hedge your positions against such events. Otherwise, you will be regreted. :p
