they are probably working on it, in the beginning the contract wasn't even supported. Stops don't work either. I guess we will have to live with the fact that this product is not perfect yet and understandably not at the top of their priorities list.

yes, I guess it is, because the spread-market (for the roll-over) has a unique pricing of it's own, so you would have to indicate at least a price. BTW: I'm as much astounded that the other guy didn't know about the cash-settlement.

I have a friend who is mutual fund manager at a well known bank, he hardly puts in 8 hours a day and he doesn't put lots of effort into this (by his own admission), most of his time is spent just more or less replicating some index. And he is not alone, his colleagues are not exactly go-getters...

how do you know if you are any good ? ? ? ? I have been doing this for 15 years and I don't even know if I'm really good at this. I had great day's trading index-futures in the mid-nineties, but now my knowledge about that is worth nothing anymore. I was always very good at trading options...

like i told you the adx is not on the chart, and if you would have taken even as much as a decent look at quotetracker you would have seen that the first parameter is for dmi (put that on 14) and the second is for adx (so you want that one at 14 too).

set the second to 1, even better use paintbar to colour the background for adx.

what's your win% for the last year ? and how many trades do you have about each month ?

I've tried to backtest this method on the estx50, the results were very poor. This does say however nothing about the original idea of which I only have backtested for a limited amount and will look into this further.

the concept sounds interesting, does it work in real-time ?

maybe pointing out how your method has evolved, and why, would be enough for most of us, not exactly a detailed journal ...
