I expect a low number, somewhat to the forecasted consensus - 9.7. That would be the lowest in 18 months. Do I think that's going to change the trend? Nope. But I think it'll provide a nice momentary dip that I hope to capitalize on.

I messed around with the Aussie for a bit (despite my promise to avoid the temptation) and got some more ticks from it. Now I've shorted the Euro at 1.3450 ahead of the German release in an hour. Seems to be a good choice. We'll see.

Closed at 52 - 17 pips. I don't feel comfortable going long above 50 at this point for some reason.

Great post, thanks. The only problem is that it doesn't take into account any discreet selling of Euros by the ECB, or blatant intervention, or any fundamentals (though this week is quite from info point). But I like it!

Whoa...check this out. Was watching the Aussie when it suddenly jumped 20 pips up and then 20 pips back down in the span of 2 seconds. Can only see it on my 5 second chart... What causes stuff like this?

I don't know, the ranges are getting smaller, and I have a feeling it's going to be a contest of wills, right around European open tomorrow morning. Support camp is pushing up, and the Resistance camp is weakening.
