It used to be $250/mo when it first started. I guess not too many takers at that price.

Generic is a proprietary firm along the lines of Worldco, ETG, etc.
Their retail arm is Carlin Equities, and the umbrella company is Carlin Financial Group.
You must remember that this kind of prop firm has two income streams coming in: the 50/50 split on a trader's profits and the commissions they charge their traders. Our small office alone has an average daily volume of 3 million shares/day and we are being charged a penny a share in...

Do you feel that the profit potential of swing trading outweighs the risk of holding overnites? I am currently doing pairs trading exclusively and my experience has been that my biggest losses have been holding overnights, although I also realize that the profit potential of...
I am currently using the Thin version of FA and I personally find it useless. I'm used to looking at candlestick spread charts over a 5 day period and Thin only has line charts and I cannot go back 5 days using 5 or 10 minute charts. Pls correct me if I am wrong on this.
Is anyone aware of charting software for pairs trading where the spread is shown on 1 single chart? First Alert used to have this in their earlier version but my office switched over to FA's new version which plain sucks.
Any help much appreciated.

Thanks.
Totally agree with you Optional. Do not agree with you though on your implication that the posters here are all armchair patriots. Perhaps some are, but some definitely aren't.
