So doesn't using "tight stops" necessitate

Since your account cannot handle more than one contract at a time, what about calculating the rough equivalent DIA shares and trade that, cutting it in half for each close out? You could still use the YM for your charts but the DIA would be your trading vehicle. It's not perfect of course...

How to pay yourself for hard work

And every AMG Merc that could 'waste' an R8 has an automatic trans. :D If I wanted flappy paddles, I'd buy a Ferrari.

How to pay yourself for hard work

That is one helluva car. Got to see one first hand on a track in Joliet IL (Autobahn Country Club) being driven by Audi employees at an Audi one day class I took in 2007. Incredibly cool. But make sure you get the V10, not the 4.2L V8 in today's model. If you're going big, why not go all the way?

    Question from TS EasyLanguage newbie

That did it. Works only when the RSI drops below and not at any other time. Exactly what I wanted THANKS!

    Question from TS EasyLanguage newbie

That's the problem. Using the built in system alert cause the alarm to trigger with any break down or out of the RSI. I simply want the alarm to signal when it hits 25 or lower. I'm not using any code at all. Simply the right click on the RSI line:Alert:Enable Alert

    Question from TS EasyLanguage newbie

Can I hone in on this thread with an RSI request? My oversold RSI setting is 25. I'd like an alarm to trigger when it equals or goes lower than 25. But I don't need it to tell me when it exits, or when it reaches the overbought line, or when it leaves that etc etc etc. I can't seem to get...

One Year Treasury Bond *Constant Maturity*

My GF has a 3 year ARM that will reset on Feb 1, 2009. The reset is based on the 1 year Treasury Bill Constant Maturity note plus an index. Since that's not the same as the 1 year Treasury, is there any trackable symbol that I can watch? I know the Fed publishes the number every week, but is it...

    Tradestation and naked shorting????

I posted the same email and asked the exact same question. My belief is yes, it's the broker's responsibility to find the shares, not me, the retail customer. It SURE seems like they're just covering their ass when they either a) don't find the shares or b) don't even bother and then close...

Got this from Tradestation. Isn't it the BROKER'S responsibility to find the shares?

September 19, 2008 Dear TradeStation Clients: Yesterday, we informed you of the new short selling rule adopted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on September 17, 2008 (the "Rule"). In the Rule, the SEC expressed concern "about the possible unnecessary or artificial price...

Okay. I was skeptical. Chevy Volt is a 'Killer App.'

Isn't the Volt supposed to be 40K and not 30? At least as of now? That would kill the thing if it's 15K higher than the Prius/Civic.

Stupid n00b question-how much $ is this move on EURJPY

    Wow, cool calculator. Thanks!

Stupid n00b question-how much $ is this move on EURJPY

Sorry that this is such a dumb ass question but the decimal points are screwing me up. Hypothetical trade: Assume one is long the EURJPY and it moves from 161.669 to 164.711 for a total profit of of 3.042. What does that mean in profit per contract, assuming trading in US dollars...

Anyone ever buy a REAL trading system???

Sorry. Changed my mind about posting a chart. For $47, I want Ryan Watts to get the bread, not have some ET people potentiality try to steal it. Ryan's a damn good guy - it's worth spending some money to find out about the system on your own.

Anyone ever buy a REAL trading system???

I too am very satisfied with the Watts Trading system. Totally worth the $47. Comes with free indicators for specific charts (Tradestation, E Signal etc.). TOTALLY worth it.

Have you ever introduced yourself as an speculaor?

I usually say 'futures trader' and if that doesn't work, 'Private Equity Fund Manager' and if THAT doesn't work, 'side job of chicken house processor.' By then, they're looking for the bar on the other side of the room :)

    Bright trading and any thoughts

OK not moving until the end of summer. I'll email you closer to when I know I'll actually be out there. Thanks!

    Bright trading and any thoughts

Is it just an open trading office of two guys who'll accept any style (e.g. an arcade/desk renting situation)? Or is it the Bright method (and software/brokers/clearing) of trading?

    Bright trading and any thoughts

What's the Denver office like? Moving there over the summer and I've been considering going the Bright route. But am curious about their new (newer?) Denver affiliate. Saw this thread so I'm wondering how it's going http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=96906 Thanks
