    The situation is just as grim here in the UK. In the boom times people were taking out huge mortgages (up to 5x salary) for their houses giving littleregard to what would happen if the market turned. Now it has, these people are now screaming how it's everybody else's fault: the banks...

    What a rubbish day. I missed the first few hours anyway, and the rest of the day just chopped around too much for me. Didn't do a single trade, :( Should have laid in the garden. Good trading those who got something.

    Hi all, thought I'd start posting my efforts as well. Just keeping it small for now, 100 share trades. SGP was a stupid trade I shouldn't have done. The rest were bits and bobs. Wanted to trade ARTC which fell off a cliff, but IB wouldn't allow it. Anybody get it? Thx for info badger...

    07-18-2008: IB Backfill problems?

    I find it worse in the first half hour or so, which is odd since there's less data to backfill, unless it's so fast moving with so many trades going through it causes a problem. Either way, this is very poor. IB, I know you look at these threads so SORT SOMETHING OUT. :mad: :mad: :mad:

    Yes I've had backfill probs for ages now. Had to switch to a different feed. Even their own charts have problems :mad: Also after it's taken ages all the data isn't there anyway. IB, sort this sh*t out.
