As newwurldmn alluded, it's the internet, everyone is free to display their opinion in a open and democratic fashion. It may be based on little or nothing but you get what you pay for.

I remember about 15-20 years ago, there were a couple of copies on eBay listed for about $500. There is plenty of material out there on various strategies related to ORB's. Raschke has done work on it among others.

He trades other markets and swings other futures contracts and stocks in addition to his investment portfolios. He does enjoy scalping which can evolve into intraday swings, that's up to the market to decide.

The amount differs but we've all paid our dues. Unlike many demanding professions, there is no formal track, no syllabus, no tests, certifications etc. We're on our own to separate the wheat from the chaff and forge a way.

That first bar put a tail through the 50% retrace of yesterday's range, signaling a short. The reversal bar you noted as bull flag established the trading range low and satisfied as such, long. The following spike set the high of the TR AND tested the 50% retracement, signaling another short. If...

Inside bars are consolidations, on a lower time frame they often appear as a standard pullback. As such they are breakout patterns in trends....in trading ranges, not so much except as scalps.

Good example this afternoon and in a retracement zone. The little 3 bar reversals a group of us "triples"....mini H&S formations.
