S&P 500 Sector ETF Momentum Rankings

I decided to have a chart template for collars and a chart template for scalping. I'd go scalping except I filled up my portfolio with collars. Oh, well, I think I'll eventually pay off my LEAPS puts and make profits.

    Buying TQQQ now

It didn't pencil out as a collar for me and it doesn't look bullish anytime soon.

S&P 500 Sector ETF Momentum Rankings

I made a few changes for scalping. Not that it's that big a deal for a buy-and-hold guy like me.

    Buying TQQQ now

I'm thinking it pencils out as a collar.

It seems if it has ultra-high volume and ultra-high 36-month beta and a high IV, there's a good chance you can pencil out a good collar.

S&P 500 Sector ETF Momentum Rankings

It's tough finding workable collars, especially great-paying ones, and ETFs largely can't compete against stocks, I found that out by buying XLV and the payout is small, couldn't make XLU pay out at all, UNG looks like it's about the only good ETF now, but I really like the looks of CRC and SQ.

S&P 500 Sector ETF Momentum Rankings

I kept the chart but changed the screener criteria. ETFs rather can't compete with stocks, so I quit trading ETFs.

    Options trading approval at Ameritrade

I've been getting the usual Level 2 options buying approval runaround from TD Ameritrade. The thing is I can't afford to wait 90 days to reapply. I got approved without problem at tastyworks, where option buying is standard, and it's obviously a cool place to be.

Buy puts or calls on ETFs or stocks which are at or near the 200-day SMA and 50 on the 100-day RSI and change your position as you are proven wrong or right.

S&P 500 Sector ETF Momentum Rankings

I'm thinking trading without using options is dumb. You don't know whether to stay in or get out. You get out to save money and lock in a loss of money. With options you can lock in a potential loss smaller than you'd have without using options and still have potential profit and you have to get...
