Worldco Do I really have to put up money?

MACD, I don't have that much with them, under 5 g's. My freind has about 25 g's with them, I can't decide for other people, all up to them. I can just sit by and watch. My freind is going to Andover so I will look into them, heard they have good software. And they are backed by a stable...

Worldco Do I really have to put up money?

In just the past few months we've cut about 300 traders. Some will never see their capital contribution. Luckily I'm up right now, however I have a feeling they will ask me for some $$$ to keep the lights running. Regardless if Worldco does go under I will hold a memorial service and place a...

Worldco Do I really have to put up money?

worldco needs to fill seats w/people that have capital to put up. they need their commissions. that's why they are constantly hiring and then firing. u figure there's always some moron out there who was no idea how Wall St. operates, it's kinda like a boiler room, except it's for traders...

Worldco Do I really have to put up money?

Worlco just axed another 80 guys today. I don't know how they stay in business. This place will probably be out of business in the next year, I wouldn't put any fresh money into it.

SEC to Nearly Double Equity Transaction Fee

I'm not surprised the worthless SEC who claims to "protect the average investor" is looking to exthort more money from the average investor. Politicians are good for one thing and that is separating a man or woman from their hard earned money. I guess someone has to pay for the "War in...

TradeStation 7 Released & New Lower Commissions

Greetings All, Will Tradestation be demoing the Tradestation 7 software at the Online Trading Expo in NYC? Because if they are I'd definately check them out. If Tradestation was smart they would target the hedge funds and prop-shops who are using Redi. Redi can be brutal at times and their...

    Elite Trader Chat Room

Does anyone use the elite trader chat room?? It would be nice to have a discussion in real-time. Perhaps like at 4:30 pm est. after the markets close. Anyone down for this? You'll have to cut down on your porn surfing, but I think you may like the chat room. - BMW

Worldco Do I really have to put up money?

I have nothing against Worldco. However there was an error in their computer and they thought I had been there 13 months when I haven't been there 4, so they asked me for 4 grand! Nevertheless they still pulled my belzberg and open book, that is what pushed me over the line. I'm gross up, I do...

Worldco Do I really have to put up money?

Worldco pulled my NYSE open book, pulled the belzberg sytem on me and gave me the piece of shit DOT. I am near net flat and they just asked me to put in $4,000. I beleive they just fired another 150 traders and support staff. I think if you have to put up a few grand your better off going to...

    The Day Trading Industry

I beleive the day trading industry deserves a fair shake. Especially the firms that survived the fallout. Wall St. for obvious reasons never liked day traders. However we have added liquidity to the market, amongst other things. Considering that Wall St. is having it's share of problems...

    Don's Openings, Part 6 2003

Ok Don, Keep me informed though, you could go around to different firms and talk to traders. I think CNBC should do a peice on day trading firms that survived the fallout. That would be interesting. - BMW :)
