    Worldco R.I.P. 1993-2003 ?

Worldco is a joke. I said bon voyage, I'm not gonna put more capital into a boiler room operation. Nothing I said was a lie, in fact I said I gained some good experience from being there. I am currently looking at 2 decent trading offers. I am close with the top trader YTD at Worldco, so I have...

    Worldco R.I.P. 1993-2003 ?

That was a perfect summary of Worldco. In case anyone had any doubts, but of course don't take my word for it..... Ronaldo, the place is done. PM me I'm curious as to how you made it back into the normal world. BMW

    Schonfeld Securities and commissions

There are sub LLC's of Schonfeld, a group I know of pays around .006 per share. I beleive the current payout at Schonfeld is 20% gross with 8 % deferred. BMW

Inside the Industry - Chat w/ Don Bright

I don't think it would destroy his credibility at all. I remember CNBC doing a segment on "Harvey Houtkin" a few years back. It would simply be an outlet for a look back into daytrading & those who survived. - BMW

    Worldco R.I.P. 1993-2003 ?

Yup, I said from the onsite that Bright backed up his words. More firms should show their balance sheets, any LEGITIMATE firm would. - BMW

Inside the Industry - Chat w/ Don Bright

I'd like to check it out. Don is knowledgable in the area. I don't beleive the media has given us traders a fair shake. I beleive it's b/c that is the lines they are being fed from the major wire houses. - BMW

    Worldco R.I.P. 1993-2003 ?

I definately learned to trade at Worldco. I can honestly say that I've been able to consistently take money out of the market trading 1000 share lots, even in this sideways market. It took a good eight months of off/on trading but it finnally paid off. Even though Worldco technology might...

    Worldco R.I.P. 1993-2003 ?

Yes, Andover was bought by them. I think it's a great match. The hammer technology is fluid.

    Worldco R.I.P. 1993-2003 ?

Hitman, I'm still at Worldco you moron. In fact all they did was ask for a capital contribution, I wasn't "canned." I may be moving to another floor with what's left of the team, lol. And yes I was there when Al asked my buddy to withold $30,000 from his check. I'm not goin to say much more...

    Worldco R.I.P. 1993-2003 ?

btw, I'd say about 70% of Hitman's gross comes from the commissions generated by those still left on his team. No slight to him, he's a decent guy, but be honest about where the money is coming from. :) BMW

    Worldco R.I.P. 1993-2003 ?

I was on Hitman's team but no I was never down 8K in fees, that's straight bullshit and he knows it, no wonder Elite banned him from the boards. I took some time off then came back. Why would I put more money into something which I know is unstable? Hitman trades the same size I does and...

Yes it was Paul and he's a good guy. I wish him the best of luck. Worldco is done in my opinion.

    Worldco R.I.P. 1993-2003 ?

I'm pulling out my capital before this place goes under. They fired the head of risk who was with the company for 5 years! No explanation either, they just let him go unceremoniously. The times have changed. Even some people with positive capital accounts are being asked to contribute more...

Worldco Do I really have to put up money?

If you go to Monster.com you can see an ad for Worldco. They have the nerve to recruit people as they fire decent traders. That's nerve right there.

Worldco Do I really have to put up money?

The Worldco Top Gross/Net is sometimes off. But yes I_missed you are right about how far it has fallen!!!! If you want to make the top 20 list, (used to be Top 30) all you have to do is make like $400 - $1000 dollars. That is the most anyone is making! It's sad but true, the average...

Worldco Do I really have to put up money?

I changed my opinion after seeing how Worldco treated some of it's traders. Not returning captial, having shitty technology and reneging on promises made. Removing Belzberg will be the last straw. What are they gonna do put everyone on ISI Dot??? LOL... or maybe the Worldco Trading...
