MBS, I´m curious, why wouldn´t you be concerned? Suppose you are long several contracts YM, globex goes down, and the market crashes several hundred points before globex is available again. You wouldn´t consider hedging your position?

you can hedge globex contracts with floor contracts, for example two ym equal one indu (10 dollar floor contract).

YM moved from ecbot to globex today. Before, at ecbot, stop market orders were native to the exchange. I assume stop market orders aren´t possible anymore for ym at globex, only native stop limit orders. Can anyone confirm this?

one other thing not to forget is that ecbot did not support stop limit orders, only stop market orders. globex only supports stop limit orders, no stop market orders. so i guess from today on, you can only trade ym with (native) stop limit orders, if you want to continue using stop market...
