We had excellent price action today (133.12 HOD on July contract) in oil with all the volatility, and I was able to make some good accordion action trades with entries at 132.50 up to 133.00. I am now again all out of accordion bullets with the big drop back to the low 126's and I hit more...

Target at 129.00 filled. I think oil will have a pullback to at least 112/113 area prior to another run which could make new highs, so I agree that OIL is still bullish long term.

CL now 80% of my trading and everything else 20% (in order - ES, DAX, ZB and a few others also traded daily as short term position or swing trades as I get set ups).

Decided with the strong single day rebound to add 4 short positions at 131.00 with targets at 129.00/128.00/127.00 /126.00 - holding all other positions as stated earlier today.

Targets at 126.35 have been hit for 1/2 of my 128.35 entries - holding the rest of the position until lower pricing levels (looking for 112/113 area for the core of the position).

You missed what I said - TO START. I have been trading CL for 1 1/2 years now (was LONG CL from late February 07 and on) from mainly ES only trading. Yes, you could start by trading the QM contract as mentioned with a lower INITIAL account size from what I mentioned for the CL...

FINALLY this oil news has been released - http://www.infowars.com/?p=2359 Will it happen and what will be the affect - I have felt this type of action would be bearish for the current prices of oil.

I would say at least 500K to 700K for a very small scale start up - ER2, DAX, ES are good instruments to start off with. For CL I would say 1 million is the very minimum to start small and build up over time.
