I understand..... i'm bearish for only short term ( 2-3 weeks). It is possible that YELL might only fall to last week's base...and trend side ways till it meets the 20ma.... in which case i will cover. Yell basing sideways into the daily 20ma would look to me that a blast up trough the 200ma...

tango..... Please allow me to give you some honest advice. don't start off trading to make big bucks. You should start trading to learn how to trade....the $$ will follow. Paper trade first.....if you cant make any money paper trading, how do you expect to make money using real...

Yes....and that was a good play....YELL made a higher low in mid Oct from Sep......while the index took off like a rocket. But look at YELL now on the weekly...it bumped up against a multi month supply area. That in it's self is not enough for me to short it...but look at the $TRAN index...

Macro event......i agree with your bias.....next week may be the first week of a minor correction.

I agree with you guys....its just my style to start hunting for shorts when the markets have had a nice bull run. I also look at cross sector analysis in a longer time frame. I don't care how much the MM and specialists run up this market at this point....im only looking to short when the time...

Theres no way i would consider taking a long swing position at this point. Remember how in the cartoons someone runs off a cliff but doesn't fall right away...cause they aren't aware they're standing on air?? ....... thats what this market reminds me of. And look how the transports are extended...

Ripley....that last one doesn't make no sense. Remember: slow and steady will win the race every time. (at least in stocks)

Seems the $TRAN is overextended on the daily chart. Also looking at the daily chart of crude oil, it seems that its set to find support in the erea from July. Companies like YELL and such may soon look like good short candidates....at least for the time $TRAN pulls back.
