wwatson Lately here you're reminding me of that movie: Me, Myself and Irene. The good you and the bad you battling it out for control of your body. Be interesting to see who wins. Maybe we should do a poll.:)

    Free Level II With Tradescape?

I used Tradescape for several months. Execution was about average. Like Candle said, their software sucks but I had a separate data feed, using them simply for execution. The problem I had was with freezeups but the problem was my connection. As long as youve got broadband your probably alright...

    Best Strategy on QQQ

One thing a lot of people don't take into consideration is that you don't need much of an edge to make a lot of money. Taking .25 out of the QQQ's is a heck of a lot easier for me than trying to get a point out of CHKP on a consistent basis. You just have to up your size. It is not as volatile...

    Chat room reviews

I was in mtrader a couple of years ago and left. Now, two years later I'm getting advisories from them every day. I guess they are going into their old files and trying to lure old customers back. I suspect their subscriber base must be falling which makes me wonder how the 25k rule is...

Brandon Be sure and let us know when you start your room. I would really like to find a chat site just to shoot the bull while I'm watching the screens. I stopped by the elitetrader site for a day but the problem with those yahoo sites is that it seems anybody can jump in at any time and...

    Chartwiz feedback poll

"When a person get's all whiney from legitimate questions, it always stands the "what's up" hair on my neck. " Me too but I'll bury it if I smell a buck. Call me mercenary.

.35 to .50 on the QQQ hardly sounds like a scalp. Thats a pretty good move. If your doing that on a consistent basis, congratulations.:)

Chris You cannot please everybody. It is impossible. Its a simple matter to ignore posters that you don't agree with and go ahead and do your thing. You know the market is equally devided between the pros and the cons and have learned to live with it and thrive. You can do the same here.

I dont know if fibs work or not but if you take 32.5, 50 and 62.5 and then fudge a little in either direction, which I've seen a lot of people do,you have covered almost every possible retracement point there is.

    The Segway

This things going to be big. One word. Malls. A woman could attach this thing to her car, go to the mall, shop all day and never get off the darn thing. Packages arent a problem because she takes her husband with her to walk behind and carry things.:)

    The Segway

I dont think people who live on Nob Hill will get much out of it but I see huge potential for flat surface applications like moving around a large warehouse. Mister Kamen is going to be a very rich man, imo.

I agree candle. I think of it kind of like the banner advertisements you get on some web pages. The price you pay for the info.:D

Good idea. That would be a nice compromise between the old (which I preferred) and the new.

Purchase of Home or Trading Biz?

Keep the job. Buy the house. Get married. If your passion was truly trading full time you would already be doing it. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear. Just my opinion.

Trials and tribulations before becoming a consistently profitable trader

Magna I don't think there is a good "mechanical" approach to trading consolidations. I alway try to anticipate the break by, as I said, watching the price action and enter near the bottom of the range for a break up and vice versa for a break down, to give me that little bit of cushion to...

Trials and tribulations before becoming a consistently profitable trader

First of all I'm trading on a 5 min timeframe. I buy retracements when they approach the 20 ma or resistence/support lines that I have configured on my charts. When one bar makes a higher low and the next bar takes out the high that bar, I enter. Vice/versa for shorts. Of course your wrong a...
