version 77 I'm using starband. It runs $70 a month. Its only been down once since I've had it due to weather for an hour or so. As discussed on other threads its only good for data download, not execution. If you have no other broadband options its probably your best bet, for data at least.

Carl J I seldom use stop orders but when I have to leave the computer for awhile and want to keep the position open I use a stop/market/best. I've never got a really bad fill on QQQ doing this.

When things are slow I get up and do exercises. Also have a treadmill close by. If you sit in front of a computer 10 hours a day without doing anything your asking for it. I think whats more damaging than anything is stress. I'm suprised I didnt have a heart attack during my first year of trading.:)

Andrasnm Trading is not about making money. That is not why you do it. Trading is jumping into the ring with the best in the world, no holds barred, and surviving. Nothing compares to it. Of course, the money's kind of nice too.

Kicking If there is a quick selloff, Id rather be trying to get out of the Q's than anything else. I've actually been pleasantly suprised by how little slippage I get but I don't fool with the specialists.
