I notice that Great Britain had some poor economic news today. Seems to me the numbers were pretty far off forecast. Everyone is watching the Euro this week because of ECB, I'm looking at the bigger picture like Italy's notes blowing out in yield last week. It's not full blown panic yet. In a...

It just seems like a market where a lot of the volume has left, but still searching for value. That means spikes, which is what we have now.

Speaking of thinking we know something, the market seems to be operating counter trend, more like buy weakness sell strength. Except i have a hard time establishing where it's going to bounce from. Anyway I think I can at least say it's not trending on the longer TFs. Think trading range till...

Sometimes I just think, "Well, maybe I am the crowd (everyone is saying not to be a part of)". And I'm ok with that. Haha. Everyone thinks the crowd is over there somewhere. Maybe it's here, closer than you think.

Just reading Joni Mitchell's lyrics to the song "Both Sides Now." I guess one of the ideas to the song came from Star Trek, the episode where Spock gets emotions and falls in love. Anyway my mentor, who was surrounded by information, used to always tell me that "We don't really know very much."...

I know that I have to follow some crowd somewhere sometimes. Hopefully it's the right one. I also gave up trying to understand what really drives the market. I wonder how anyone can think they have this knowledge, and where it comes from. It's all just a probability that exists in this moment...

Funny how that thinking from awhile ago keeps coming back. Last night was a good example of not being centered and paying the price. I can read between the lines pretty well by now, and actually I spent a bunch of years learning how to do so from one who made it his vocation. But then there's...

Closed out. I agree, they can talk about ending QE, but not so sure they can do it under the circumstances.

Hanging in there but this isn't my kind of trading. Still the longer tf charts look bearish to me.

It certainly looks like EUR and AUD have completed a two stage correction. They should not show more strength. If they do I'm out.

Stopped out of the Eur, reentered at 1.1799 short. Still holding Aussie short from lower. Looks like I was a little bit too quick on the trigger. Or just wrong. Usually I don't trade right off the open but I saw the gaps in Cad and AUD.

Just looked at Aussie weekly as well. Both look bearish. Tried to short Euro Friday afternoon at 1.1763, ended up covering around .70 into the close. Just didn't want to take it into the weekend. Looking for one more weak bounce on the shorter TF, if we get it. Tried a usdcad long around 1.2963...

You could also say the Euro came down to support. That's the more likely scenario right now. Usdjpy not backing down, probably risk-on but gold still lagging.

Scratched/small gain. Too early to tell and equities holding. GBP weak though.
