That is probably your problem. My guess is that IB is probably not loaning you Canadian dollars for free. You are probably paying the ask when buying Canadian dollars and selling on the bid when coverting back to USD. Good luck.

I have tried to figure out a way to do this for years. The TSE is not a very trader-friendly exchange, so I have avoided it. What currency is your IB account in? Do you have one USD account and one Canadian dollar account? If not, IB might be charging you the spread on the exchange...

What are the fills like when trading the ES??? Can you ever get filled buying on the bid and selling on the ask, or do you have to pay the spread? Can you go in between the spread? What are the fills like in fast markets? Thanks, axe

Are there any remote firms out there charge a flat per trade fee (i.e. 50 cents per trade, not per share)?

What is ETG charging their new traders these days (is it still 1.5 cents per share)?? And what is their payout? Any changes?

$0.006 "all in" what? SEC fees + commissions? Do you get your full rebates on top of that? Do they mark them up/down? If your true ECN costs are 0.4 cents I would guess that you're taking liquidity much more often than you're providing it. Where are you getting $0.006 all in? The lowest...

Can you go into anymore detail? When did you finalize this?

Yes the time frame I was speaking of was seconds/scalping. As for my opinion on 5 and 15 minute charts for daytrading...I just don't get it. By the time a 5 minute chart develops any sort of tradeable pattern, it's alreading 11:00am and the market is dying down into it's midday-chop-zone...

I agree 100%! 99% of all of the indicators regurgitated on this site are all LAGGING indicators. By the time they do there little "cross over" , etc. and given you a signal, the stock is gone and the opportunity vanished.
