anyone know what happens when a prop firm and or LLC is sold or merged into another firm? do any traders get a cut of the buyout fee if there is one or is it only the owners of the firm ? real naive question here ... Also ... if traders get a cut , is it only traders presently...

I think 5 pts is better for trailing stop , based on my experiences. or have you done some backtesting to show 4 pts is better? or do you let the nq go 4 pts against your paper entry level and then enter the real time order ?

on orders like MOO / MOC can one place them and logoff ones IB account and know that they will be executed at the end of the day?

the futures trader , system writer , etc once turned 10 K into 1 MM ... I think he had it up to 1.5 - 2 MM but had a late drawdown in the contest ...

In the pre market and post market except its not NYSE but usually Instinet with the Best Bid / Offer I do not have a program to do this but I set up a few pages on my trading platform and try to narrow the spreads to under 25 - 50 cents ... on island ( or Redi ) for 100 shares sometimes...

my hmo blue cross / blue shield wants to raise my monthly nut again ... it was about $315 2 yrs ago then this yr went to $347 now they want to raise it to $395 I think I am going to be shopping for new coverage elsewhere :(

become a local on one of the exchanges cme ... trade sp500 / nasdaq100 futures cbot trade dow futures nymex trade the energy complex then you do not have to worry about system outages only out trades ... costing you thousands :eek:

a second electronic broker to handle emergencies when IB is down prudent thing to do ... or sit it out until they go back up good luck
