My personal opinion is that timeline is way too far out for currencies. Most places are going to put out random trades on varying pairs based on different trade parameters, making it close to impossible to gauge the statistics. You'll probably end up in holes for months, waiting for months to...

They're total fools who can't really filter out good traders, so they rely on other qualifications. That way if you blow out, they can fall back on the fact that they hired from the best schools and it's not the employers fault.

Anything is possible, it's at what point is it not possible. Sure one can make XXX% in a given time, but as been pointed out, you'd own the world. So, at some point the market can only digest a certain amount of money, at that point you lower leverage, making less % return.

If the op had the decimal point in the wrong place it would all make sense. 0.02% per year, then the 80/20 after that.

You need to know the average volatility for a given time frame, then how much time is left/ has passed and how much of that you have grasped or lost.
