    Beating Larry Williams record

LOL now we have Sabena and Sababa how confusing! Sabena, just ask uncle Greenspan to make the EMinis liquid, that should do the trick!

Sabena, If your trading is so steady and repeatable why not "warm up" by taking a 10K account to 100K in the next 3 months? Then you could warm up again and do it again before year end. The size argument wears thin in such a scenario.

I'm going to summarize because there is too much to quote verbatim. But the info I am looking at is on p 160-161 of the paperback. He talks about using dozens of systems, diversifying by using multiple strategies and by trading those strategies in multiple timeframes. He uses automated...

    Overtrading

Commisso, Do you approach other aspects of your life in this same manner or is this something that you just apply to trading?

    Starting out - What tools?

When we start to trade we often learn the wrong lessons from the market. It is only after we lose and reevaluate what we "know" that we are able to gain market wisdom.

    Exit strategy

Exits are important, and can often make the difference between a profit and a loss. But you can say the same thing about an entry - the entry was favorable so you didn't get stopped out or it was unfavorable so you took a loss (even though the direction was ultimately correct). Try deleting the IB ActiveX control off your form then putting it back on the form. You may have upgraded the TWS to a newer version OCX than the one that was placed on your form initially.
