As long as this topic has been raised... if you buy 4 lots with one order at one price with Tradestation doesn't the OSO feature give you a stop for 4 lots and a take profit for 4 lots and how do you break that out into 1 lot trades at different prices? I was wondering about this myself...

So ES puts in a high around 1pm and cannot make a new high the rest of the afternoon. Check the DOM and there is frequently 1000 contracts on the bid/offer. The upmove into the close is likewise stopped before the earlier high is reached, plenty of buyers, plenty of sellers, just a few more...

The indicator is called Price_action I found it somewhere on the Tradestation support forum. You should be able to find it there. If you have any trouble finding it let me know and I can copy mine, but you should get it from the guy who wrote it and posted it on the Tradestation support...

Anek, I am not quite clear on how 1. Uptrend/Retracement is different from 2. Last swing high was a higher high. Isn't the confirmation HL after HH, with an earlier HH and HL ? So I was stuck on 4 confirmations. :)

Read this tape! Looks like a bunch of MOC buy orders for NQ. They all went off at 2 seconds before 4pm and ran the contract from 2106 up to 2112 with orders "Above Ask"
