What is the best prop firm trading in your opinion?

Earn2Trade and OneUpTrader are legitimate. Apex and TopStep have too many convoluted rules that are easy to miss. Apex has ridiculously high activation fees.

    Could it be this easy?

The NT backtest engine isn't that good. Better to download replay data for every contract and run the strategy in replay. The results will be more in tune with the real market. If you're serious about developing strategies, TradeStation is the only platform that's powerful enough. Their...

Trying to Manage these Trading Combines. Anyone else?

Their "rules" are less than transparent. I've seen reports where a trader would not be paid if they had a single day with a huge win. Apparently, their "consistency" rule kicks in when your trades vary by profit - or something like that. I don't believe there's anything at the website that...

Trying to Manage these Trading Combines. Anyone else?

APEX has no transparency. There are a number of "rules" that will prevent you from being paid. It's a cash machine looking for vulnerable wannabe traders. That's it.

Trying to Manage these Trading Combines. Anyone else?

If it's stupid, why do you offer it?? Because you're looking for gullible, vulnerable wannabe traders.

Trying to Manage these Trading Combines. Anyone else?

That's what you're hoping for, right? More resets, more subscriptions? The activation fee on a $50,000 would be $2,800 for 20 accounts. If the blasted business model is so unrealistic, why are you offering it???? Guess what - it's a cash cow, rinse and repeat. Blow up time is coming.

Trying to Manage these Trading Combines. Anyone else?

It's not "enough" because it's their money, not APEX's. They should be able to withdraw their profits at any time. Period. But wait - they also have to cover that $6,000+ activation fee before they make any profit at all. You're working for APEX. And APEX is going to blow up - big time...

Trying to Manage these Trading Combines. Anyone else?

You must be smoking some strong stuff. They reduced the evaluation time to 7 days. All that does is attract more wannabe traders who will fail faster and generate reset fees for APEX. The activation fee is HUGE. If you're willing to pay $6,000, why don't you just open your own brokerage...

Trying to Manage these Trading Combines. Anyone else?

Darrell Martin was with LeeLee and now has APEX. APEX has HUGE activation fees - if you signed up for the $150,000 account with their max accounts (20), your activation fee after you pass the evaluation would be $6,000 to start trading. Wouldn't trust Martin and his shenanigans. He has a...

The main reason why doing business with these get-funded programs is a bad idea...

Does FTMO have an activation fee? Some of these firms have huge activation fees - APEX charges $300 for a $250K account. You can buy up to 20 accounts. That means you would have to pay $6,000 just to activate the funded account once you pass the evaluation. No one seems to want to address...

Do you have any experience with the Meta Trader platforms? How reliable is the datafeed? Thanks.

    what about the Earn2trade?

There's nothing at the CFTC website about this. Do you have a link? Thanks.

Trying to Manage these Trading Combines. Anyone else?

That's a lot of BS from Rithmic. If that were the case, thousands of traders would have been affected, some of whom would have posted in other forums. Did you see any? No. Rithmic is notorious for coming up with these ridiculous excuses as to why their software sucks. I know several people...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

Of course. I didn't mean to imply that all traders are bad. If the firm is lucky enough to attract good traders who make serious money, then it's a win-win situation.

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

Yes, I believe he mentioned that he was with LeeLoo at one point. That is one strange company. Their advertising features a cowgirl on a ranch. The wait period for payouts says it all - they ain't got the cash until they have enough subscribers - it's just a self preservation strategy.

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

Remember the book "Bringing Down the House" - story about MIT students who took down a casino in Vegas at the Blackjack table. Of course, they were caught. Would be fun to put together a dozen really good traders, sign up for the largest account at one of these firms and see if they can get...

Interesting stats. Looks like a money maker for this outfit.

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

Doesn't make much sense that he works with/for another funding firm. Why wouldn't he just incorporate those traders into his own business? Really stinks. And if the numbers are fake, it's just as easy to fake a bank account statement to make it look real. I think he's the same guy who worked...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

I received a bunch of promotional emails from them. I watched a YouTube and was quite amazed at the numbers he posted (see attached). Now, if these are simulator accounts and he has to pay out these huge sums, the business would need backup financing in the millions. In another video at their...
