oanda is excellent for filling orders. i had some issues with fxcm not filling orders for 5+ minutes even when there was no news coming out. granted i don't push much money but oanda has been good so far.

i wasn't aware of any trading majors at schools... heck, a finance degree isn't even good for entering the asset management field. imo law following an economics degree or even psychology would be better than any finance degree (unless benjamin graham was the prof for most of the reqs)...
