were you beaten as a kid by your father? is that why you have such a chip on your shoulders against engineers? if you have half a brain you'd realize that engineers always design things with a factor of safety if a beam is meant to hold 10 lbs, we design a beam to hold 15 lbs instead...

lol well i'm not a very successful engineer but in all honesty, engineering has just taught me how to think and how to work hard and figure out difficult concepts. it hasn't forced me to think in terms of absolutes, even in my field, if you're off by 10%, 20%, you're fine

Mechanical Engineering. I'm good with math but haven't delved into the theory of it too much. I think what you're suggesting is more fundamental related whereas I'm looking to create a system (or number of systems) to trade the market indicator-based.
