It appeared to me that most instances of increasing volume resulted from price reacting to formations. Therefore, this is my view of the ES 5 min fractal.

I do recall the following advice from early last year....

Spyder, I revised my chart end-of-day. Is this getting closer to the way you saw things play out? As of late, the laterals are throwing me off base far too often. I am struggling with when/if to annotate 1,2,3's etc within the laterals. Also, it sometimes seems that I see too many...

My view of today

Woops....we haven't had an "end" to the first traverse as of yet.

We are now in the 3rd traverse. First we had a dominant UP traverse, followed by non-dom lateral, and now in a dom UP traverse to complete the channel sequence.

I've annotated all of the "traverses" with 1,2,3's. The channels are shown in purple/blue/purple. I see differences in my chart vs some others that are posted. Am I jumping fractals here?

Thanks Jay. I had the red channel drawn in as a super channel from the 15:15 FTT on Thursday and the Pt 3 of that channel from 15:45 on Friday. I can definitely see your take on it also. I'll have to examine the charts a bit more to work that out.

ding ding ding.....Spyder's expression "wash rinse repeat" became much more significant for me today!!

Since the down traverse had no end, any trades (other than to hold) would represent jumping fractals....or trading tapes within the one traverse. Intra-Fractal Movements (IFM)...nice!
