ChatGPT: One Page Manifesto on Day Trading & Trading Plan

Problem is that it is very generic and is inventing hot water. It is a basis to work on, not something that would make you instantly rich. Especially the entry rules should be tweaked for in individual trader... What I like about it is, that it has all the points that a good trading plan should...

Maybe best not to assume every month we will reach profit target...just saying. :caution:

ChatGPT: One Page Manifesto on Day Trading & Trading Plan

Not bad at all! Of course there is plenty of space for improvements, but for a first draft it is not bad at all!

    overtrading

Because this is what works for ME. Your case might be different. It is not my goal to sit at the charts all the time. I am happy with 0.5 or 1% profit. I open a trade (I have noticed that I wait most patiently for first setup to form), if it ends in profit I am happy, I close the platform and I...

    Complacency in trading.

:D:D:D So true. Sometimes we KNOW what to do and yet we still do the opposite. i think this is the biggest obstacle in trading - getting the discipline and ability to execute the trading plan. That is the reason why there are traders out there who seem to be doing perfectly well trading...

    overtrading

Overtrading is a problem with winning and with losing. If you one day trade a lot and even if you are profitable - that is a short term win. It can give you a dangerous feeling that you cannot lose and can cause a huge loss the next day. Better to be in the game for the long term - build your...

Ability to generate alpha is very different in the two types of funds. Talking about honesty and trustworthiness...I dont see how it would be different than other professions? Bottom line is if the investors believe in the fund, that is all that matters to fund managers. In my personal...

Of course it is possible, if you have no tested strategy and no rules for executing this strategy. Clearly you need that before you open a live trade.

    Preparing for retirement financially

Spend less than what you earn and invest. ETFs are a great product for someone who does not have the joy to study the markets.

And yet the topic is about a specific, very nichy hedge fund. You listed a few articles which are all mutual funds-related. I assume you are aware of the difference between the two types?

Looking at the chart, it seems your losses are relatively big comparing them to profits. How is that possible? Are you trading according to a trading plan? Trade should end either in a small profit, small loss, or big profit. Cut all those big losses out and you will do much better! Good luck!

Anyone have any experience with "thepitfuturestrading.com"?

They have over 1k videos on youtube - I would suggest to invest a couple of hours to see if the course is a good fit - if yes, I would pay the 200 lifetime fee and give it a try. https://www.youtube.com/@ThePitFuturesTrading/videos
