mid-level mba or cfa in tomarrows market?

I failed the CFA level 1 exam 5 years ago. I was all excited to start studying but once I got all the books, I was like "no way, this is not for me". I'm definitely not a quanthead. So I didn't study at all but I took the exam just to see how well I would do. Well anyway, self study is...

Daytrading ES will totally suck if: (1)S&P hits 500 and a (2) new bull market begins.

I doubt CME would mess with their most popular product. Margins would probably go down though. I doubt they would change the tick level.

Daytrading ES will totally suck if: (1)S&P hits 500 and a (2) new bull market begins.

This is a decent market to daytrade right now but when the next bull market begins and volatility collapses its going to totally suck. Remember the 10 point ranges when VIX was sub 15 and the S&P was around 1400. That's a 0.7% range. If the next bull market starts at 500, we're gonna...

What do u say when asked for Investment Advice?

I should add: 4 If you really want to take bigger risks find a good trader or CTA to manage your money. Hopefully they don't ask me to manage money for them as a few people have but in that case I would just say I don't manage OPM at this point.

What do u say when asked for Investment Advice?

That's kinda rude. Again, it doesn't matter what you do people will always ask profession related questions. Division of labor and specialization make civilization possible.

What do u say when asked for Investment Advice?

If you were a lawyer, people you know would ask u your legal advice. If you were a doctor, people you know would ask for medical advice. But you are a trader so what do you say when asked for investment advice? In the past I've generally said: 1 Stay away from stocks - buy index ETF...

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

Most people wrongly assume that submissive = weak, doormat, inferior, etc. This is the wrong mentality. Submission requires great humility and courage and needs to be respected. I tend to be older, more mature, wiser, wealthier, more spiritual, and stronger than any girl I date - so I...

    4,000/1 Odds

Of the 2 million people, I bet 1.9 were people trading at work or after work as a hobby. So that leaves you 100,000 traders. And that gives you a 1 in 200 chance. And a 15 year timeframe is long enough to weed out all but the most serious traders. It wouldn't surprise me if all 500...

Daytraders: Do you use Profit and Loss Limits for the Day?

This is the conventional wisdom - every one says limit losses but not profits. But if you're not limiting profits then you're not limiting greed. Sure there are days when you can make over 3x your average profit. But the same greed that motivates going for huge gains also results in a...
