I am always willing to learn a new technique. I will watch for these pivots tommorrow. Is it hard to know when the pivot is occuring? Seem like you would miss half the run in the opposite direction before you realize that the pivot has occcured.

Currently, the gold chart is broken. We should head lower before the bull run resumes.

Huge rally today. Short at your own risk. Still long the NQ, but got stopped out on the ES at 2 point loss. Damn tight stops piss me off.

Long ES at 1373 and long 2 NQ at 1893. Stop is at 1370 on ES, and 1862 in NQ. I expect them both to be up tommorow. BTW, that gold chart is a bearish disaster. I am short gold from 930, and about to add another contract.

aapl +2.50 now. Considering that any news that is not so bad in today's market is considered extremely bullish. We will likely have another +300 day.

The plan would be to exit the strategy Thursday after earnings release.

The risk/reward is negative. However, the chance that you will make money on that trade is very very high. That high likelyhood of success offsets the negative risk/reward ratio.

The reason I have been thinking about a straddle is because of the GOOG earning play would have been awsome. I realize that this is not GOOG, but the principle is there.
