how do i trade forex futures

Unless I misunderstood your question: 1) Open an account with a Broker that does Futures on Currency. 2) Fund your account (with the minimum required, depends on the broker). 3) Trade. Good luck (I mean it!!!).

Any side effects/problems running trading softwares on AMD Ryzen chip?

These trading software are coded using high-level programming language. They don't use low-level specific hardware call. Any chips will be fine. I don't think you'll make more money or less money using AMD vs Intel vs Mac.;)

Repair Strategy for NFLX Short Put

Agreed. But it's not about how much he can recoup. It's all about the process. I wish him NFLX to go back where it was before the earnings announcement. As long as he can learn something from this experience.

How much can a retail algo trader expect to earn?

You can get lucky for a short period of time, but not in the long run. If you are beginning, expect to lose the first few years. Don't try to make money. Just try not to lose any. Focus on the process, not on how much you can make. If you are able do that, it will be a success. Enjoy!

Repair Strategy for NFLX Short Put

Anyway, I don't think the OP will close his position and take his loss. He might get away this time, but one day, a small loss will become a bigger one. Admitting an error is tough. Even tougher when trading and money is involved.

Repair Strategy for NFLX Short Put

@learningoptiontrading, if you had a plan at first place, you wouldn't ask yourself what to do now. The truth is, you fuc...ed up. That's it. It may be your first time, but it won't be your last (if you keep going!). You need to admit to that you were wrong and take your loss and move on...

has anyone ever backtested a method and then traded it profitably?

This is because many 'traders' go directly from backtesting to real-money trading. They skip the walk-forward testing and real-time paper trading. Like previously said, there are so many ways to backtest the wrong way.

Who was affected by cme outage today?

I had an opened position during the outage. It didn't impact me. I closed the position at profit after the outage. It was business as usual for me. Btw, all my trading is fully automated.

Automated Trading = Recurring Passive Income?

0$ commission, 0 slippage,....... Add $4 round-trip per contract and 0.5 tick per trade (so 1 tick per position), and that would start getting a bit closer to real life trading. If you are still profitable after that, then start paper trading, real-time, with a good platform (not one...

'Grey Sheet' is a subset of the 'Pink Sheet' (OTC). It's the place to trade if you're looking for trouble (not counting IPO's).

Spy put volume and open interest

By 'virtual' I meant that there is no physical asset associated with each contract. Option contracts are not 'changing hand' like you said. Contracts are either opened of closed. Each side of a trade is considered individually when they are calculating the open interest (ex: BTO + STO = 2 OI)...

Spy put volume and open interest

Market maker are usually flat at the end of the day. And yes, they can sell to close a position that he's not holding (because it's a virtual contract, so-to-speak). Let me use your example. You BTO and the other side STC: variation = 0, because 1 contract was opened and 1 contract was closed...
