    Unsupported Ninjatrader Programming

This is what I had in mind: Have Ninja write some values to a text flat file, then have another C# program running in VS 2010 pick up those values and sign onto another site and do something else. Thats it. Should be accomplishable.

    Unsupported Ninjatrader Programming

Just wondering if anyone else has tried something like this before - I need to connect to external sources from NT/C# through APIs and create some unsupported functionality that NT does not have. Anyone tried something like this before?

    Parabolic Stocks

What's the best way to identify a parabolic stock and its point of exhaustion? You know, how you can see the chart turning up like a cup, sort of like AAPL. A lot of the indicators I'm testing are giving me false positives.

    List your Ninjatrader issues here

I'm posting this thread to gather any known issues with this platform (and to help other developers with the issues I've had). Overall, I'm still giving it a neutral rating, but here are the major issues I've had so far: I had a problem with Ninjatrader erasing my profitable strategies. I...

AmiBroker or Ninjatrader to Replace StrategyDesk ?

I've been using Ninjatrader for the past few months. Its powerful, but it has its share of bugs and odd behavior. The forums are a nice place to find answers you need. I give it a fair to good rating overall.

What broker and datafeed do you use?

Right click on the symbol in the instruments list, then go to second tab, click on splits and dividends. Download the information from Yahoo Finance, then rerun, it should be okay after that. Do this for each symbol in the list.

What is your win/rate and profit factor?

I have developed a system that gets a 65% win rate and a profit factor of between 2 and 4 each year, depending on the year assuming a standard position size. The system trades the S & P 500 Index of 500 (not the index itself). Is this the best profit factor and win rate I can expect to achieve...
