    Any Hawaii traders?

Aloha, Been trading from home on Kauai for the last 3 1/2 years. Funny, you're moving here because we're moving back to the mainland. It's hard getting up at 3 a.m. to trade day after day. I've been trading everything - stocks, options, futures, etc, etc. Just need a DSL or cable hookup...

    Problem with IB's TWS

Anyone else have orders for DJX options on the TWS that takes so long to actually see your bid/offer get posted on the screens? I tried to lift an offer that apparently I missed and then my bid didn't show up for at least 12 minutes later. Nevertheless, I missed the trade and now I hang out to...

Options on futures, any good broker recommendations

Stevet, You think $10 r/t is expensive to pay for open outcry futures options? I'd really be interested in a broker you know that charges less than that. I'm not talking about the online electronic markets like the e-mini futures, which we all know that IB charges $2.40/side. I'm talking...

    esignal vs. quote.com

Here's what I 've found so far in comparing the esignal charts vs. quote.com's qcharts. Esignal has really fixed up their charts nicely to rival qcharts. I've found that some of the technical indicators might be slightly different from one another even though I have the settings identical...

Options on futures, any good broker recommendations

04-27-02 04:24 AM Hi syd697, I'm also looking for a futures broker for commodities (using IB for eminis, bonds, and currencies) and this is the first time I heard of 5perside. Visited their website and seems to be OK. Are you trading with them? How's the execution, slippage, etc.? I'm...

Options on futures, any good broker recommendations

If you want to trade the open outcry futures options with a decent online trading application, then go to www.5perside.com they charge $5 per side for Chicago markets and $5 + exchange fees per side for NY markets. They clear through E.D. & F. Man so it's a solid company. Take a look. Good...

    esignal vs. quote.com

Thanks for the responses so far. Guess I'll have to try out esignal and compare it for myself. Good luck everyone.

    esignal vs. quote.com

Anyone try out the new esignal ver. 7.0 yet? Curious how their new charts compare with quote.com's charts. I'd like to use an all-in-one application for my charts, option chains, stocks, and futures quotes, and if esignal's charts are up to snuff, then I might not have to use quote.com plus...

International Subscription to Active Trader Magazine

I thought I was the only one not getting my issues of Active Trader either. They really have a problem. I ended up cancelling too and now I just go to the bookstore and read it there for free.

    IB, standalone or browser?

I think it's a toss up. Both versions work the same for the most part when it comes to speed/reliability. The browser version requires an extra open window on your taskbar in order to operate it. Some people might find that annoying. Good luck.
