I have a cable connection. Usually I shut down this computer when I am finished for the day. The last ten days I just let it sleep and since the problem. A guy told me it could be zonealarm or something to do with software when it's on over night. Shut down last night and today it's fine so far.

It happened three times this week but it appears it was or it effected the internet connection. Had to reset connection ie. ipconfig/ release.

Look at JNPR it has good volume now and it moves around.

XP PRO on two machines. Very good.

I use two machines. One is pentium the other AMD XP. The AMD has not given problems but pentium crashes every now and again. It is not the chip but software that causes problems. I would not recommend AMD for laptop. It runs too hot plus a bit noisy until they figure a better cooler.

I do much better with NQ than ES. I just seem to read it better.
