hi IV , you normally take positions with less than 10 days before option expiry and an EPS announcement within that 10 day time period . can i ask why in plcn and webx you decieded that greater than 10 days before exp was still a good trade ? cheers neil

Nice more chance for your combo to go into profit tomorrow then . I take it you've got standles ATM on both PCLN and Webx they both moved quite a bit at last EPS i see. Have you sold any march / april combos on any of them looking for a drop in vol ? thats a graph of options with 30 days...

could be a port , ip , firewall issue. some isp's block certain ports especiaily on broadband connections . ask if you can connect to the patsystems test server which has a different port and ip

man, fimat , abn etc probably wont look at you unless your trading serious volume not a $5k retail account. The GL winway screen would cost the broker $12,000 alone. I guess IB might be my best bet to start off with .

Spddst is their a middle eastern futures exchange for coffee ? I've never come across one ? I've looked at the Brazilian Merc , i think a lot of their contracts are pit traded not electronic access so i'd imagine getting the price you want will be more difficult ! Do you trade oil...

which brokers offer electroinc middle east and brazilian access ! can't be many unless you have a few million in a prime broker account !

hi did you find any info out on mutli exchange spreads , sounds interesting i might do some research into it .

i'll just give up on the interest rate spreads and look at other spreads. trade one index against another or something like that . I've just bought a book from amazon in different spreads so i'll take a look through it . I'll let you know if i come up with anything .

thanks for the reply - I'm looking at the charts now and you seem to be right , these things tend to trade by appointment only ! very low liquidity I might look at the index futures instead i 'd imagine they would be more liquid. ah the joys of looking for new trades ..
