    Day 63.....

Congratulations...I wish I had progressed as quickly as you, my path had a lot more blood down it.......and some hard lessons, but their have been some excellent suggestions here. I'll just wish you continued learning and keep an open mind, do not have an opinion, and "trade what you see"...

    True Truths about Fibonacci

...have you read any of Larry Pasavento's materials on fibonacci retracements or heard him speak? I've spoken to him on the phone several times and used his service, I find him easy to understand and extremely logical. rttrader -

    Robin Dayne??

I think I met her at a Bright Trading, "Beyond the Snake Oil" one day seminar in San Francisco about 2 years ago. I'll have to find her business card.....she seemed decent enough, I never ran into anyone who actually used her coaching services though... rttrader -

    Early exits are killing me.

downtick - I'm sorry I didn't clarify that point it is for e-minis (futures). I focus on NQ and ES currently, although I am extrapolating this to FOREX and Eurex instruments as well, using TradeStation. I hope that clarifies it. rttrader -

How does a DT qualify for a loan??

I've been told you can apply for a home re-finance, ( I would assume the same could be used for a regular loan) and use "stated income" since you have to "estimate" your income? I guess this would assume you are going to be "net" positive at the end of the year. Check with your CPA to be...

    Early exits are killing me.

my .02 cents worth, A very good friend helped me by setting up most of my charts in "tick" bar format I agree with the previous poster that looking at higher time frames really helps "me" in my identifying where I take profits and where I cover loss's or more specifically very simply looking...

    Ruthless, the key to success

bobcathy - I totally agree with the concept you are talking about here...Karma has a way of catching up with those who burn people...I've seen it over and over. I try to treat people like I want to be treated...until they prove themselves to be just (as you say) a "bastard". I've met several...

    Back to the Basics

Brandon, I think your comments on using "retracements' rather than "breakouts" in the eminis is exactly what I've seen our larger office trader do. I've traded both the NQ and ES for a while now and our big emini office traders, (who trade "significant" size) ALL use retracement levels to...

What's the best way to trade full time, while working for someone else full time?

why don't you look to trade Eurex, you can work during the day and trade Euro's at night,...sleep is another issue:p. Also FOREX is another possibility too, it trades around the clock. When I worked at Xerox I only traded options and swing-traded stocks so it worked for me. Good luck...

For anyone out West, ....late last year I interviewed at UBS Paine Weber in San Francisco,CA. They had several training programs for mostly fixed income trainee positions.
