How many shares a day do newbies and mid level traders trade per day? Based on P/L 2007 thread...some boys trade close to 150K shares per day... sounds about right?????

I am planning to buy some materials from http://www.stcusa.com which run about $225 for self paced. What other sources available to buy or sites to use for test preparation. I appreciate your suggestions.

Who do you trade through?

By trading freedom I mean...trading whatever you want whenever you want. For example not to be told to trade certain stocks only (ie NAZ, blue chip,) trade certain lots..(ie. 200/shares per lot).

Forgive my ignorance what does "They charge .01 per share for the first 1,000 share of a ticket," mean???? What is a ticket :confused: ???

Point well taken - I've been trading for sometime retail but sometimes run into problems even undercapitalaztion problems, I took some money out buy a n income property...then took out more to buy another, then another one, then again to buy my own house, etc...Now I excecised some stock options...

just spoke to Echo...most of their t4raders are remote and they don't have any offices in CA...most/all in AZ. They don't offer any training either it looks like.

Bright sounds good indeed, I found some others that charge only .002 but not sure about those companies...I guess Id rather pay .004 and be at Bright perhaps or some other bigger company, just thinking outloud

I would appreciate people sharing their experience related to: - commissions, - training, - customer support, - trading freedom, - leverage, and any other aspects. I looking to find the best commissions rate, good cust support, remote trading and obviously some some leverage.

I appreciate you taking the time to layout things out in a very logical manner. Make sense....those who don't need handjholding or supervison shoujld trade remotely. I'll need to some supervision intially tho...

Thanks for sharing Firstfull - Don Bright in some of his messages mentioned his traders trade remotely...so there is no office per se or at least a just a handfull. Is it good or bad if most traders trade remotely? Thanks.
